Hatfield Borough Power Outage on March 30, 2023, was caused by a squirrel making contact at our utility connection with PPL. Due to this contact, damage was done to wires and other distribution equipment throughout the Borough. The power was restored on the Main Street and Vine Street Circuits within 3 hours and 15 minutes and the Chestnut Street Circuit within 3 hours and 30 minutes.
