Administrative Assistant

The Borough of Hatfield (3,338), a Borough in Montgomery County, PA is seeking applications for an
Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of
administrative tasks to support the Borough Manager. The position is responsible for preparing for
public meetings, responding to public inquiries, assisting with special projects, preparing maintenance
schedules, and other administrative related tasks. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and
demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. The desired applicant is to have a
Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years of prior administrative experience in municipal government.
Any equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training which provides the knowledge,
skills and abilities necessary to perform the work will be considered. This is a full-time, daytime position.
Additional evening or weekend hours may be required for meetings, projects, emergencies, and other
