Mayor Flyer

T.S. Elliot wrote “April is the Cruellest Month” but I disagree.  To me, April is a month of reawakening, promise and renewal. Who can’t be filled with joy and hope when Mother Nature puts on her show of beauty, when birdsong again fills the spring air or when we hear the laughter of kids playing outside.

While Nature celebrates, how can we as residents of the Borough join in? Let’s take a stroll in one of our lovely parks: take a walk around the path and rest in the gazebo in Centennial Park, take your kids or grandkids to the playground in Edgewood Park, check out the wildlife (and the historical marker) in Heritage Park or follow the route of the old trolley line by walking Liberty Bell Trail. And don’t forget the Borough will be celebrating Earth Day on April 23rd with a recycling/shredding event (details on the website). I think you’ll agree with me we all are so fortunate to call Hatfield Borough our home.

 Looking forward to May:
